curiousity final image

the idea behind this is teenage curiosity involving drugs, my friend took the photo of me holding a vitamin pill on my finger, i tried particularly hard to look rough.
I isolated the pill using the lasso tool and then changed the colour to blue so it would stand out, and put a small outer glow around its edge, this come under blending options.

in this image i have made a radial gradient round the outside and applied the HDR setting to make the image generally look alot better.

This is a sort of playful reference to the matrix but also presents the curiousity between decisions and how everyone is curious about what would happen if theyd chosen differently, to make this final image i simply had to copy the blue one and bring it beside the blue one and make a colour adjustment to change all the blue to red.

here it is with textures added to the walls and floor u will notice they are the same as the settings textures.

after merging the layers i applied an image adjustment that allowed me to make an ink scream.

finally i applied another image adjustment to de-saturate it and change the threshold setting to get the finished product.

final setting

this is an edited image of the corridor in my flat, i thought it was the best place to take a photo for something that looks like it could be an asylum, i made textures on photoshop using brush tool and different filters i then applied this textures to the walls, the ceiling and the floor, finally i used one of my images of chaos with the bombs and the lightning through the door and applied a lens flare.

this is the same image but using the liquify tool to twist and distort it, giving the impression that it is being seen through the eyes of someone who is not of sound mind and body.

My interpretation of this was a character in immense despair or some kind of mentally ill patient that may be out of touch with reality or hearing voices, so the idea for the character is a screaming woman holding her head, and the idea for the setting is an asylum that has morphed into some kind of visual nightmare for the patient.

final image communication

this is my final image for communication it is about how we communicate by e-mails rather than post now more than we did years ago, the letters are flying through the air because e-mails can get there much faster than letters ever could.

i made it using images of letters and then warped white rectangles with a gradient on them for motion blur, i then got an image of a road and mirrored it, i also used the brush tool abit to darken certain bits to bring focus to the point of the image.

chaos final image

this is the first chaos image it is made up of a lot of images of my hands and my friends hands, and they are all layered on top of each other.

after i had the hands all in the places i wanted them i merged the layers so i could apply the HDR setting

this is a black and white stencil version of the hands

this is the my favourite version of the hands, it was made by a mixture of settings including HDR and i feel it looks like a comic book style.

fall final image

To fall asleep, i followed a spotlight tutorial for photoshop, which involved the gradient tool and the filters gaussian blur and render clouds.
the falling character is a stencil drawing of me i made this by tracing over a photo of me pretending to fall on a stool, i then copied the layer twice and changed the opacity and size of them so it gave a sort of motion blur without interfering with the spotlight.
